The term ‘head massagers’ has been around for years and has come to mean a group of masseurs who specialize in massaging heads in the United States.
However, as of last year, the terms are becoming more common, particularly among Asian men.
Head massagers are the ones who are responsible for massaging a person’s head in a massage and sometimes perform head-bobbing, or head-pulling.
But, it can be dangerous and could cause problems, including stroke, concussion, and death.
What is a head massage?
According to the American Psychiatric Association, a head massager’s primary goal is to provide the body with a relaxing, healing, and/or sensual experience.
These types of massages involve moving and rubbing the head with an external object, usually a massaging pillow, to stimulate the tissues and muscles of the head.
They may also involve a massage of the entire scalp.
The main objective of head massagers is to alleviate symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, dizziness, and memory loss.
How to get a ‘heads-bobs’ massage?
A massage therapist may use a massager to assist in the removal of hair, but they are not meant to be massaged all over your head.
In addition, a massagers massager should be positioned in a gentle, controlled manner.
A massage is not meant for prolonged physical contact.
If you are experiencing any of the symptoms listed above, seek immediate medical attention.
